Arnold began learning the skills required in the construction business working alongside his father. After many years learning the trade Arnold started his own business, Penner Construction, in 1988. Arnold’s workmanship has become well known throughout central Alberta by satisfied customers recommending Penner Construction for agricultural and commercial buildings. Arnold specializes in building riding arenas and has built arenas for Guy Heintz, Locke Duce, and Nick Swager.

Arnold’s son Matthew has learned the construction trade from his father, gaining experience by working full time on the job site since 2005. Together Arnold and Matt run a successful construction company.
